PROJECT & PROGRAM DELIVERY · BOLU OWOLABI, PMP

I turn complex projects into working operations.

Market launches. Software implementations. Healthcare system migrations. I bring teams, vendors and workflows together to get projects live. My experience spans a ~$6M fleet launch, three EHR migrations and peak leadership across a 250-person Amazon operation.

THE 8FLEET STORY

The first Atlanta hire on a ~$6M fleet launch.

I opened the site and owned the handoffs from procurement and receiving through vehicle readiness, rollout and first drive. Explore how I set up the site, onboarded drivers and standardized fleet technology.

THE AMAZON STORY

From four inbound managers to one at Amazon peak.

At Amazon DGE7, I stepped into peak as the sole inbound manager in a four-manager coverage structure. I led my direct reports and oversaw the broader shift across a 250-person operation. The station handled approximately 130,000 packages at peak.

We exceeded throughput and on-time staging targets during peak. I also wrote a hard-hat safety SOP to address head-injury risks, and it was adopted beyond DGE7.

THE COST OF ONE OPERATING HOUR

$4,500–$6,250

Estimated base wages if all 250 associates were on the clock at once.

$18 per associate$4,500/hr
$25 per associate$6,250/hr

250 associates × $18–$25 per hour. Excludes overtime, benefits and payroll taxes.

THE WORK

Different industries. One operating discipline.

Fleet, warehouse, healthcare, global logistics and SaaS. The environments change; the discipline stays the same: map the workflow, identify risk, create standards, measure performance and improve the handoff. Explore each role.

THE PROCESS LIBRARY · SELECTED EXAMPLES

I don't just run the playbook. I build it.

I've developed SOPs and operating procedures since my undergraduate years. Across software, healthcare, warehouse operations and fleet launches, the aim is the same: make important work consistent, teachable and less dependent on one person. Explore four examples of the processes I built or improved.

01 / 8FLEET

New-hire orientation & first-drive readiness

Updated the NHO SOP and handoffs across orientation, required checks, onboarding and activation. Supported approximately 250–300 people entering hiring or orientation monthly.

Hard-hat and head-injury prevention

Wrote a hard-hat and head-injury prevention SOP that was adopted beyond the originating station.

System transitions & operational handoffs

Led work across three EHR migrations and a practice relocation, coordinating handoffs across clinical teams, vendors and site setup.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS WITH ME

No long ramp up. Here's how I'd walk in.

Every team is different, but the way I get my feet under me is the same. Learn it, fix it, then make it run without me.

DAY 1 TO 30

Learn the ground

Meet the team, walk the floor, learn the numbers. Find out what's working, what's stuck and who owns what.

DAY 31 TO 60

Fix what's stuck

Go after the two or three gaps that cost the most and close them. Clear owners, clear KPIs and a simple weekly rhythm.

DAY 61 TO 90

Make it repeatable

Turn the fixes into a playbook the team can run without me. Then start on what's next.

HOW I MOVE

Four rules I don't break.

01

Figure it out first

I don't wait for perfect instructions. Find the gap, find the fix, move.

02

Own it all the way

Day one to go live, it's mine. If something breaks, I'm already on it.

03

Build the people up

Supervisors I lead get better. Teams I onboard show up ready.

04

Keep it simple

Clear numbers, clear plan, clear owner. That's how big things move.

OFF THE CLOCK

Same guy. Different setting.

Finished high school at 15. Nigerian, Atlanta based, and a spoken word poet at heart (you'll find me as boluthepoet). I travel, I take in the big moments, and I bring the same energy everywhere I go: show up, figure it out, leave it better than I found it.
